One of the most important features of a web site is what’s called an “opt in” form. It allows you to request the name and email of your visitor in return for giving them a free report, a newsletter, or anything of value related to the nature of your business.
The name and email collected in this way is called a “lead” and will be added to your database. An Autoresponder does all this automatically for you and also allows you to program your marketing message into a system which delivers it to your leads at predetermined intervals.
